The New Zealand Ballroom Dance Council Charitable Trust, aka 'Council' or 'NZBDC' is the governing body for competition and recreational Ballroom dancing in New Zealand

NZBDC is a Registered Charitable Trust Council is an active Member of the:

  • World Dance Council (WDC)

  • Asia Pacific Dance Council (APDC)

  • Asian Dance Council (ADC)

  • Dance Aotearoa of New Zealand (DANZ), the official National Organisation of New Zealand Dance

  • World Dance Organisation (WDO)

  • International Dance Council - CID - Conseil International de la Danse UNESCO

  • Ballroom

  • Latin American

  • New Vogue

  • Classical Sequence

Ballroom Dancing

Council actively supports all our registered Dancers and Teachers (Amateur & Professional) and our membership ranges from 4 years old to 70+.
